Elementary Olympics
The late rain didn't stop our young athletes from trying their best at one of Black Hawk's favorite Spring traditions, the Elementary Olympics.
Champion Games

Employee of the Month
April 2025
Kristina Petitjean, 5th Grade Teacher
Kristina Petitjean was selected by staff to be the April Employee of the Month at BH Schools. Mrs. Petitjean received numerous nominations for "being a champ with her 5th graders", always taking the time to check in with staff, and does a great job with organizing staff connections. One nominating person said, "She has single-handedly made the climate at Black Hawk more positive with her energy, and we are really lucky to have such an amazing educator as Kristina".
